Shadows in the Snow

Horizontally layered shadows of the sun setting down are being crossed by the vertical lines of the trunks and their shadows. The shadows are coloured in dramatic purple in contrast to the golden cast covering the snow masses. The purple glare blob seemingly random accentuates the purpleness of the shadows and visually attracts the lines of the trunk shadows.
